Volunteering for Telethon makes your life better!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering your time to assist Telethon to raise funds for the kids of Western Australia. We would love your help!

Volunteering is a great way to contribute to our community; meet new people; learn new skills or expand existing ones and have fun. There are all sorts of ways in which you can volunteer your time and become part of the Telethon Family.

For example, you might like to answer phones at the phone room across the Telethon Weekend.  Or sell programs at the Chris Mainwaring Legends Match at Subi oval.  Maybe you would like to spend a couple of hours on the City of Perth foreshore on Australia Day leading up to Skyworks shaking tins for Telethon.  You could volunteer across the Telethon Weekend to help out at the Kids Carnival at PCEC, help out at Telethon Mega Bingo at Burswood Dome a couple of times a year or answer phones during the 92.9 Kids Appeal in July.

If you or other workmates would like to volunteer time to help at any of these events, please fill out the form below and it will be emailed directly to the Telethon office.  But before applying please consider the following:
- Why do you want to volunteer?
- How are your health and energy levels?
- What is you availability? What other commitments do you have? Try not to over commit!
- What are your personal interests? Likes? Dislikes?
- What skills and experience do you have to offer or those you wish to improve on by volunteering?

There will be a screening process for our volunteers including an interview, identification, reference and police checks. This allows us to ensure only reliable and trustworthy members of the community will be given the opportunity to become official Telethon Volunteers.
